Biodiesel School Bus Program
The American Lung Association in South Dakota and South Dakota
Soybean Research and Promotion Council are working together to protect
the air and the health of South Dakota school children. Alternatives to
petroleum diesel are available in South Dakota, including a cleaner
burning, renewable-based, homegrown fuel called biodiesel. Using
Biodiesel instead of traditional petroleum diesel to fuel the South Dakota
school bus fleets would create a healthier environment for our children
and reduce air pollution for everyone in the region.
