E10 mandate
Minnesota has lead the nation in ethanol mandates for the entire state. With a current 10% ethanol mandate for all gasoline sold in the state, Governor Pawlenty has set a goal to increase the mandate to E20 (20% ethanol). Before the state can increase the mandate, testing and approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is necessary.
