Biodiesel Mandate
On May 12th, 2008, Gov. Pawlenty signed into law a new mandate for biodiesel to reach B20 by 2015 through incremental steps.
September 29, 2005 2 percent
May 1, 2009 5 percent
May 1, 2013 10 percent
May 1, 2015 20 percent
B5 will be available during winter months. Provisions are included that will allow the percentage of biodiesel to be reviewed and adjusted due to cost and availability.
