IL Biodiesel Labeling Law
SB 649 signed into law (PA 95-0381) by Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Effective July 1st, 2008: any retailer selling a blend of biodiesel must label the dispensing device (pump) accordingly. Blends between 5% and 20% must be labeled with either the maximum percentage available or the phrase "May contain 6% to 20% biodiesel."
